Patti Bee, M.S., LPC, NCC


Patti holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. She is Licensed by the State of Wisconsin Admin. Code Chapter 457.13. She is a Professional Counselor & Psychotherapist who is completing her requirements with the state to fulfill 3000 hours of professional practice. She practices Individual psychotherapy with adults, college age and graduate students, and older adults here is Madison, Wisconsin, treating clients with the leading-edge, integrative method of Brainspotting Psychotherapy & Counseling.


Patti has also completed all of the requirements for the Certified Brainspotting Therapist. She is also a member of the Midwest Brainspotting Institute that was founded in Wisconsin in 2014.


Previous to becoming a Professional Counselor & Psychotherapist, Patti has been an Intuitive Healer & Reader for 19 years and also a Professional Life Coach for 10 years. The past 30 years she has been very dedicated to her own spiritual & personal growth. She has studied with many well known teachers & taken dozens of trainings in Shamanism, Taoism, Law of Attraction, Holotropic Breathwork, Fire-Breath, Yuen Method Healing, Reiki Master, Bio-Energetic Touch Healing, Healing Tao Internal Alchemy, Chi Nei Tsang, Yoga, and completed a two-year Psychic School. Some of these included Soul Retrieval training with Sandra Ingerman, the Two-Week Advanced Workshop in Shamanism & Shamanic Healing with Michael Harner of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Celtic Shamanism in Ireland with Tom Cowan, 5 weeks of Taoist Internal Alchemy Chi Qong training in Thailand with Grand Master Mantak Chia, Special Psychic Trainings with Michael Tamura, the former Director of the Berkeley Psychic Institute, and Ashtanga Yoga with Richard Freeman, one of the early Yoga Teachers to bring Yoga to America in the 1960s.


Patti has lived back in her home state of Wisconsin now for 5 years. Before she went back to school to get a Master's Degree, Patti had her own Private Practice as a Life Coach in Boulder, Colorado where she lived for 14 years. She found that her scope as a Healer and Life Coach were limited in the depth at which she kept being drawn to work with clients. Listening to her own inner calling, she knew she needed to take the next step on her grand adventure as a healer, and go back to school to work towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater two years ago with her Master's Degree. She has lived here in Madison, Wisconsin the past six years. Previous to living in Boulder, Colorado, she live here in Madison, Wisconsin for two years also in the 90s.


She now combines her years as a Healer, Shamanic Practitioner, and Professional Intuitive Reader, with her Professional credentials as a Psychotherapist. This combination of experience and professional training allow an incredible energetic depth in the space that she provides for her clients so that they may find real transformation & profound change, in Mind, Body, & Spirit.

Patti's specializes in Inner Parts Therapy, which is based on Internal Family Systems work, and also Brainspotting. She combines the two to create a powerful mental health counseling model, that works well for many issues, not just for mental health counseling.


Patti has also studied and practiced other Parts Models in her own personal growth work, as well as with clients, this past 19 years, including Shamanic Healing, Soul Retrieval, & Shadow Work. This body of knowledge is a beautiful fit with her other specialty, Brainspotting, which she has completed the training for and will soon be one of the first Certified Brainspotting Therapists in Madison, Wisconsin.


Brainspotting is very new to the Madison, Wisconsin area, however, it has been used by professional psychotherapists for 11 years. It is gaining fast recognition around the world as therapists who use it, report that it has been very effective with their trauma therapy clients and decreasing unwanted mental health symptoms in mental health counseling. It is also effective for those who may not have trauma, yet have been stuck in one area of their life for quite some time.

Patti has trained with Robert Scaer, M.D., a Board Certified Neurologist who has developed the most leading-edge, brain-science-based theory of how trauma affects the nervous system, psychology, and somatic issues. Patti's work merges this leading-edge method with ancient healing techniques. Patti has been self-employed since 1996 and has worked with clients in several capacities in that time. Her depth and wisdom of the human condition has given her a gentle and humble compassion for the growth process.
